So you want to lose weight after baby? You want to lose it fast? After baby #1 you will want to get on a treadmill (with an incline) as much as possible, right? Sure, if you dropping the pounds was easy… You would already be on your way to losing weight after baby.
Now let me ask you these questions and if you answer them correctly you will also answer this question: Did I always carry around this extra 30 pounds? How did I lose the weight? I was in the foster home system before I was adopted into the world by my birth mother. In the foster home system before being adopted into the world by my birth mother I was not overweight. I was underweight but not unwanted and unhealthy. Being adopted into the world by my birth mother I picked up all the weight easily, I was a very active child. I picked up the weight easily and very easily.
Why can’t I lose weight ?
So I was not overweight. It was easy and I was healthy; I picked up the weight easily. Now I have had three children and I cannot seem to lose the weight one bit. Why?

You don’t have to feel bad if you do not lose the weight, You must be thinking you feel that way because you feel that way right now, or maybe you don’t even know why you pick up the weight I hope you feel that way because you pick up the weight, I certainly do.
We are talking about pick up the weight symptom, not the cause of the weight pick up. The causes are many and varied. Let’s address some of the most common causes:
Lack of exercise and or poor nutrition
Little or no exercise means that your metabolism is lower. One of the reasons for weight pick up is that your metabolism is lower because of lack of exercise and or poor nutrition. There can be many reasons for lack of nutrition, like eating too little food or not eating enough fruit and vegetable; and there can be many reasons for exercise, such as lack of sleep or injury. Most overweight and obese women have had some combination of lack of exercise and poor nutrition over the years. These are common causes of weight pick up.
Lack of exercise increasing your weight is especially bad for women who are not athletic by nature; as you get older you lose muscle and then gain the weight. Lack of exercise is especially bad for older woman who have lost muscle and then had excess fat but who now have to do a little exercise to help maintain their lower body. Exercise like walking, cycling or doing some gymnastics is very good for maintaining an active lifestyle; and being physically active is the leading cause of feeling happy in your life.
Making poor food choices, such as eating the wrong foods high in fat, sugar or lack of nutrients is very common. Most overweight and obese women fall into this category and usually have had some combination of lack of exercise and bad nutrition. It is important to eat a healthy diet, which means being selective of the foods you eat and decreasing your fat intake, taking in more of the good foods and also decreasing the amount of sugar. Exercise is also important to stay fit; exercise has many health benefits and is especially important for women over 40 to start exercising the right way.
Too little sleep is another big problem, especially for women who are deprived of sleep. It is especially difficult for them to remain focused and focused when it is very needed. People who receive less sleep than they need have higher chances of being overweight and obese.
These are just some of the few causes of women over 40 picking up excess weight. Left untreated, obesity can lead to a myriad of health problems and serious illnesses that can become life threatening, certainly something for you to think about. Underationsed, weight pick up can and does lead to serious problems. So if you want to live a long and happy life, losing weight is one of the best things you can do.
